KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 17 — Annual inflation in Malaysia increased to 3.0 per cent in November from 2.8 per cent the previous month, data from the Statistics Department showed today.
This was partly because of higher tobacco and transport prices.
A Reuters poll of 11 economists had forecast an annual inflation rate of 2.7 per cent last month. November was the second straight month of higher inflation. — Reuters
