KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 14 — DRB-Hicom Bhd has entered into a shares sale and purchase agreement with Isuzu Hicom Malaysia for a total consideration of RM40.8 million or RM4 per share in Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
Isuzu Hicom Malaysia is a 49 per cent associate company of DRB-Hicom.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, DRB-Hicom said the disposal is intended to realign and improve operational efficiencies within the Isuzu group and increase its share of the local commercial vehicles market. — Bernama
