KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 — Microsoft’s exclusive advertising sales partner in Malaysia, Better Sdn Bhd (Better), is supporting Microsoft’s new Microsoft Network (MSN), which brings premium
content from over 1,000 most well-trusted media outlets.
Better is the largest premium digital media representative in Southeast Asia, headquartered out of Malaysia, with offices in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines.
A joint statement by Microsoft and Better said since the new MSN was unveiled three weeks ago, nearly 10 million people the world over tested out the new site and more than 80,000 gave their feedback.
Over the next 72 hours, Microsoft said it would see the roll out of the new MSN to over 425 million people in over 50 markets around the world that come to the site each month.
In addition, people using Windows and Windows Phone 8.1 will have the option to update their devices to the new MSN applications beginning today, the statement said.
The network includes web-based programmes and services offered by Microsoft Corporation.
MSN offers a range of services including news, search engines, user-driven forums, instant messaging, e-mail and services to connect to the Internet.
Microsoft Windows users are able to synchronize their computer system with online services offered as a method of centrally organising and managing tasks. — Bernama
