KOTA BARU, June 19 — The Ekspres Rakyat Timuran train service from Tumpat, Kelantan to Johor Baru, Johor today is operating as usual according to schedule.
A spokesman of Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) said despite an accident involving a man who was run over by train at noon, there was no delay to passengers.
“The express train service from Tumpat to Johor Baru today is proceeding as normal and there was no delay,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.
He said KTMB has handed to police to carry out further investigation on the incident.
Earlier, the media reported that a man was killed after being hit and run over by train at Kampung Palekbang in the incident.
The victim was said to be lying on the railway track before being run over by the Ekspres Rakyat Timuran train from Johor Baru to Tumpat. — Bernama
