TAWAU, March 10 — The construction of a new building at the Tawau Hospital here worth RM223.6 million is expected to be completed this year, said its director Dr Norlimah Arshad.
“I was given the assurance (by the contractor) that it will be completed and operational this year,” she told reporters after launching the Tawau Hospital-level blood donation programme organised by the Malaysian Assistant Medical Officer (PPP) here today.
The hospital upgrading project started in 2017.
Meanwhile, Dr Norlimah said the blood donation programme today involved about 100 PPP Unit staff. — Bernama
