MUAR, Nov 5 — Muar's PAS candidate for the 15th general election (GE15) is banking on his fatherly appeal to win the hearts of voters here.

Abdullah Husin who is contesting under the Perikatan Nasional (PN) ticket, said that his experience as a former religious school headmaster and being well versed in management matters and guidance will be the base of his appeal.

“For me, it's just normal, because the rakyat will evaluate from various angles. Maybe for the young, the advantage can be their youth. For the seniors, the advantage seen will be from their fatherly instinct meanwhile.

“So each person has got their advantages. The youths have theirs, this father too has his,” Abdullah who is the former Puteri Wangsa state assemblyman said when met outside the nomination centre here.
