The arrests came a day after the 19-year-old was set upon by a group of 10 men outside the restaurant while having drinks with a foreign woman he befriended on social media.

He said the victim had met the woman, who is in her 20s, at a restaurant in Jalan Datuk Abdullah Tahir.

Raub added that the foreign woman was believed to be the girlfriend of one of the suspects.
