KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 — A businessman from Selangor was the biggest winner of the Da Ma Cai 1+3D Jackpot 1 drawn last Saturday when he collected RM25.75 million for the combination 9363 + 1824 in the numbers forecast game.
A pensioner from Johor who bought the same combination on a House Share System Bet ticket took home the remaining share of RM2.86 million.
The winners said they will contribute some of their winnings to homes for the elderly and orphans.
When claiming his prize, the Johorean said he missed out winning another Da Ma Cai game, the 3+3D Bonus that was drawn the same day.
“I should have listened to the sales operator at the counter who asked me to try out the new 3+3D Bonus game. She told me that I just need to add my age or birth year to my usual four digit numbers, to form the six digit numbers combination. As for the bonus, it can be just my own Chinese Zodiac.”
“I was born in the Year of Rooster in 1957. If I have added my birth year, 57, to my winning number 1824 and together with my Chinese zodiac, Rooster; I would have won the 3+3D Bonus game with the winning combination 571 824 + Rooster, with a prize of over RM367,000,” he added.
The 3+3D Bonus is a new game offered by Da Ma Cai and offers 45,977 prizes with a top payout of RM120,000.
According to Da Ma Cai, a brand of Pan Malaysian Pools Sdn Bhd, the new game is the first of its kind in Malaysia and in the region.
