KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 — Federal commercial crime investigators conducted another raid at the high-end Pavilion Residences where two units are linked to former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s family.

Officers from the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department led by Datuk Seri Amar Singh arrived in several patrol cars at 7.40pm.

The special police taskforce investigating 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) raided the same location yesterday, along with simultaneous raids at five other spots including Najib’s mansion in Taman Duta.

At 10.45pm, several police officers including a technical service support crew were seen leaving the location carrying equipment that included a money counting machine.

At 11.15pm, a police Black Maria was spotted leaving via the rear entrance.

Uniformed officers securing the area declined to share details of the ongoing raid.

Another police team is also at Najib’s mansion where they are trying to break open a 20-year-old safe that is missing its keys.
