IPOH, April 28 ― Except for Tebing Tinggi state seat, all other seats under Ipoh Timor parliament will see straight fights.

Islamist party PAS sent 61-year-old retired bank officer Mazlan Md Isa for the seat, while Tony Khoo Boon Chuan, 49, and DAP’s Abdul Aziz Bari, 59, will contest under the Barisan Nasional (BN) and PKR ticket respectively.

Ipoh Timor MCA Wanita chief Kathleen Wong Mei Yin, 41, will go up against Perak DAP secretary Wong Kah Woh, 37, for Ipoh Timor parliament.

For Pasir Pinji state seat, its two-term incumbent Howard Lee Chuan How, 35, will square off against Ipoh Timor MCA division secretary Ng Kai Cheong, 34.

Lawyer Liew Kar Tuan, 55, will be bearing the Barisan flag for Canning and his opponent will be Kah Woh's political secretary Jenny Choy Tsi Jen, 30.

Their candidancy was confirmed by the returning officer Datuk Zamri Man, who is also Ipoh mayor at 12.25pm.
