KIMANIS, April 23 ― The Barisan Nasional (BN) will continue to carry out its responsibility to develop Sabah and Sarawak if it is given the mandate once again in the 14th General Election (GE14), said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
He reiterated that only the BN could ensure the continuity of development and take care of the people, not only in the two states but also nationwide.
“We know the state administered by the opposition, is not more (progress) because the progress they have gained stemmed from BN.
“(So) don’t be hoodwinked, distracted by such thoughts because the country still needs the BN, he said when speaking at the Kimanis Parliamentary constituency level gathering with Kimanis residents in Bongawan near here.
Ahmad Zahid said BN leaders had extraordinary resilience and were willing to sacrifice time to the ensure the people progress. ― Bernama
