KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 — McDonald’s spicy fried chicken is now out of stock after a hit promotion and will only be back Friday.
McDonald’s is currently running a campaign called #MostAwesomeBite Challenge from, where consumers are asked to create a video of their “awesome Ayam Goreng McD experience” to win cash vouchers.
“Due to overwhelming demand and Malaysians love for spicy fried chicken, our Spicy Ayam Goreng McD is temporarily out-of-stock from Monday to Thursday this week (April 3-6),” said McDonald’s on its Facebook page.
“So if you're still craving for Ayam Goreng McD, why don't you give our Regular Flavor a try! Spicy Ayam Goreng McD will be back on sale starting Friday (April 7). To all our Spicy fans, we'll see you then!” it added.
The fast food restaurant has been running videos showing the crunchiness of its Ayam Goreng McD.
