KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 — Malaysian Airline System Bhd (Malaysia Airlines) welcomes the findings by the Australian Government, Malaysian Investigation Team and investigating parties involved, that the debris recovered from Mozambique recently was almost certainly to have come from MH370.

In a statement today, Malaysia Airlines said the recent findings were another breakthrough and the airline was hopeful this would bring it closer to resolving the disappearance of MH370.

“Malaysia Airlines would like to thank the Australian and Malaysian authorities and other investigating parties involved in the logistical arrangements and analyses of the debris, as well as the continued search for MH370.

“Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the passengers and crew onboard MH370. We hope that this finding will pave the way for closure to the families and friends of the passengers and crew onboard MH370,” it said.

Malaysia Airlines said it would continue to provide the latest updates and information to the families and will fully cooperate with the relevant authorities on the investigation and search for MH370. — Bernama
