KUALA LUMPUR, July 19 — Traffic flow on several major highways in the country was reported to be smooth as at 9 am today despite an increase in the number of vehicles.

A spokesman of the Plus Expressways Bhd traffic control centre said traffic on both the north- and south-bound stretches of the North-South Expressway was under control.

“A minor accident involving a bus took place at Km436 (near Rawang) but it did not hamper the flow of traffic,” he said when contacted by Bernama.

Meanwhile, traffic flow along the East Coast Expressway (LPT) was reported to be smooth.

A spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said traffic flow on the LPT Phase Two was also smooth.
