Alor Star, June 2 — Police today confirmed that some 500 illegal migrants are believed to be trying to enter the country through Bukit Kayu Hitam at the Malaysia-Thailand border.

Accordfing to the Star Online, Kubang Pasu OCPD Supt Abdul Rahim Abdullah said yesterday that, bsed on intelligence reports, the illegal migrants are now being kept at an ­undisclosed location in the town of Danok in southern Thailand, bordering Bukit Kayu Hitam.

Rahim added his men did not uncover any illegal trespassing on Malaysian soil at Bukit Kayu HItam  since the incidents in Langkawi and Wang Kelian.
