KLUANG, April 20 — A 23-year-old jobless youth was charged in the Magistrate’s Court here today with murdering his ex- fiancée early this month.
Muhammad Irshaduddin Khalis Nasurudin, from Taman Bukit Tiram, Johor Baharu, allegedly killed Nursyafikah Ahmad Ismail, 20, at the motorcycle parking area near Econsave supermarket in Jalan Mersing here at around 5.45pm on April 10.
No plea was recorded from the accused who nodded to indicate that he understood the charge when it was read to him.
Magistrate Nuruhuda Yusof fixed May 26 for re mention.
The prosecution was conducted by deputy public prosecutor Norafiah Saini while the accused was not represented. — Bernama
