KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 3 — Police are investigating the case of a private college student who was allegedly sexually harassed, extorted and raped by one of two policemen who caught her having sex with her boyfriend in a car. 

Petaling Jaya police chief ACP Azmi Abu Kassim said both policemen had been remanded.

“A remand order on the two corporals aged 29 and 30 was obtained on Sunday.

“We are wasting no time in investigating the case and action will be taken if the allegations are proven.”

On Sunday, Malay Mail front-paged the alleged incident after the victim lodged a police report on Jan 26.

The two police officers on patrol nabbed the teenager and her boyfriend having sex in the car in a secluded area in Section 10, Kota Damansara. The policemen told the couple they would be arrested for indecent behaviour in public and taken to the Kota Damansara police station. 

The couple’s pleas to be released with only a verbal warning were ignored and the couple were put into separate vehicles to head for the police station. 

When the girl continued to beg for her release, the policeman who was with her demanded RM2,000. Upon agreeing to the sum, the policeman added an extra condition — for her to have sex with him — but she refused.

Both policemen pulled over before reaching the police station and allowed the couple to go but took their personal details. 

An hour later, the student who was at her hostel in Kota Damansara, received a call from the same officer who had earlier demanded sex from her. 

The officer turned up at her hostel, forced her to get into his car, then drove towards a nearby shopping mall and parked his car at a secluded area. He then blackmailed the student and told her to perform oral sex on him or he would inform her parents of what she did earlier and also threatened to take her to the police. 

The student gave in and while she was performing the act, the policeman panicked and then took her to a male toilet in the shopping mall and raped her. 

He also forced her to withdraw RM500 from an ATM inside the mall and then left her there. 

The policemen kept calling her over the next few days, demanding sex.

She finally decided to make a police report.
