PUTRAJAYA, June 7 — About 100 Malaysia Airlines (MAS) staff and residents from around here held special prayers at Putrajaya’s Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque for the safe return of the passengers and crew of MAS Flight MH370.
The prayers were organised by Persatuan Anak-Anak Kapal Kabin Muslim Hidayah Hilal with the cooperation of the Malaysian Islamic Development Department and Selangor Islamic Religious Council.
Persatuan Anak-Anak Kapal Kabin Muslim Hidayah Hilal committee member Zakir Hussein told reporters they had not forgotten the 239 passengers and crew of the ill-fated flight which went missing on March 7 while en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
Despite a massive multinational search in the South China Sea and the southern Indian Ocean (the plane is believed to have made an air turn back), the missing aircraft is yet to be found. — Bernama
