DUBAI, March 18 ― Armed forces of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will join international efforts in searching for the Malaysian Airlines jetliner which went missing ten days ago.

A source at the UAE army's general headquarters said yesterday two search and rescue aircraft will be deployed in the search operations, Xinhua news agency reports state news agency WAM as saying.

At least 26 countries are involved in search efforts for the plane.
