BANGKOK, March 17 — Thailand is offering to assist in the search for the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 aircraft which has been missing since March 8.

Thailand is ready to share aeronautical information with Malaysia on whether the plane flew over Thailand’s airspace.

“Our air traffic control centre has all the records and if its information is combined with other countries then the plane’s direction could be known, said Surapong Tovichakchaikul, the caretaker deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs, at a press conference today.

He said the Thai government was ready to support and assist in the SAR for the Boeing 777-200ER which went missing with 239 passengers and crew. — Bernama
