SEPANG, March 11 — All-England champion, Datuk Lee Chong Wei has called on Malaysians to together pray for the best for passengers of the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, which is missing since Saturday.

Chong Wei, who was met by reporters at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) upon his return from London, said he still followed the latest developments on the incident when facing the championship, via the international media.

“Let’s pray for the safety of all passengers and crew of MH370,”he said.

Last Saturday, the Boeing 777-200 aircraft from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing was reported missing from radar about an hour after departing KLIA.

The aircraft which was carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew should have landed in Beijing at 6.30am on Saturday.

Chong Wei won the 2014 All England championship after beating his traditional foe Chen Long from China in the final at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham, England, on Monday morning in straight sets of 21-13 and 21-18.

It was his third victory after winning the championship in 2010 and 2011. — Bernama
