KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 — Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Shah Mu’adzam today urged families of those onboard missing flight MH370 to remain calm, as search and rescue efforts continue.
During his royal address when opening the current session of Parliament today, Tuanku Abdul Halim expressed concern and offered his sympathies to the missing passengers and cabin crew as well as their families.
“I also hope that the families of the passengers and cabin crew involved remain calm and strong in accepting whatever outcome,” the King said.
Flight MH370 has now been missing for three days since it lost contact after departing Kuala Lumpur International Airport for Beijing, China on March 8.
There were 239 people on board, including 12 crew members.
