KOTA BAHARU, Jan 16 — The flood situation in Kelantan returned to normal when more than 500 residents in the district of Pasir Mas returned to their respective homes since last night.
According to the official portal of the state government, this followed the improved weather which resulted in the situation in Alor Pasir and Bunut Susu to return to normal.
Up to 8pm last night, only 571 victims were still staying at the Sekolah Kebangsaan Kedai Tanjong, Alor Pasir.
The water level in Sungai Golok in Rantau Panjang which had exceeded the danger level last night, had dropped to below the alert level.
During the second wave of the floods which hit Kelantan since last week, more than 2,000 people had been evacuated. — Bernama
