KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 — Selangor’s Crown Prince, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, has shared a heartfelt prayer for a beautiful future with his bride-to-be, Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz, as their October wedding draws near.

Posting on social media yesterday, the royal groom-to-be offered a tender message to his fiancée.

“My love, tonight I pray that our future will always be beautiful. May Allah protect us, guide us to the right path and one full of light,” he wrote.

Tengku Amir also expressed his gratitude to the people of Selangor for their warm wishes and prayers.

“I extend my deepest appreciation and thanks to all Selangor residents for their heartfelt prayers, especially through the special prayer gatherings held across the state in conjunction with my wedding to Cik Afzaa Fadini,” he said.

The wedding festivities begin with the royal nikah ceremony on October 2 at the Royal Mosque in Istana Alam Shah, Klang, followed by a glittering royal reception and banquet on October 22 in the palace’s grand Balairung Seri and Royal Banquet Hall.
