KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 — A restaurant owner in Vietnam went the extra mile to help a customer who wanted a beer without his wife's knowledge.
The patron had ordered a meal, with a note attached for his 'special request', The Thaiger reported.
“Can you buy a beer for me? My wife doesn’t allow drinking at home. So, please help me ‘disguise’ the beer so I won’t get caught!” the note read.
Trying his best to accommodate the customer, the restaurant owner poured the beer in a plastic container normally used to contain soup.
To make it more believable, the restaurant owner even sprinkled onions on top and waited for the beer foam to dissipate before closing the lid.
On the side of the container, the owner also wrote “Free Soup” to avoid suspicion from the customer's wife.
