SYDNEY, Nov 21 — Australian YouTube trick-shot sensations How Ridiculous have made history once again after netting a basketball from 180m.
The Perth trio made headlines around the world when they sank a basketball at a dam in Tasmania from 126m last year.
But their triumph was short lived when US rivals Dude Perfect broke their record with their own shot from a height of 162m in Oklahoma.
Now, How Ridiculous — consisting of Brett Stanford, Derek Herron and Scott Gaunson — have reclaimed the record with an attempt at Mauvoisin Dam in Valais, Switzerland that will have you going, “No way.”
The guys managed to net a basketball from a staggering height of 180.968m against a stunning backdrop of valleys and water in the Swiss Alps — after only three tries — on September 26, 2016.
And in case you were wondering, the new record is officially recognised by the Guinness World Records.
