NEW YORK, Aug 31 — Lawyer Matthew Ahn has set a new record for the fastest time to travel to all New York City subway stations — 21 hours, 28 minutes and 14 seconds.

Ahn was the previous holder for the same record, but after a new station opened in Hudson Yards, his record was nullified, so he took on the challenge of doing it again.

The record-breaking journey saw Ahn travelling on all 24 lines to a total of 469 stations.

Ahn, accompanied by his friend Jim and a New York Times filming crew, started his journey at 2.02am in the morning.
