LOS ANGELES, Jan 5 — When it comes to sharing, newly (and correctly!) crowned Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach certainly won’t be walking away with the title of Miss Generous as she has shut down calls to share her crown.

Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez had told a radio station last week that she hoped she could share the Miss Universe crown with Miss Philippines Wurtzbach, who was awarded the title after host Steve Harvey accidentally crowned the wrong winner live on air.

But Wurtzbach wasn’t so keen on that idea. “I think it would be a little difficult for two girls to share a crown,” she said on ABC’s “Good Morning America” show.

“But I have high hopes that this will give great opportunities for me, Miss Colombia and the rest of the contestants.

Wurtzbach also said that she has spoken to Gutierrez since the pageant, revealing that the model “seems like she’s okay”.

“I understand how she feels. I know that she’s a beautiful young lady — very talented. I think that she’ll have a lot of other opportunities.”

Miss Colombia was initially praised for her astoundingly gracious response following Harvey’s gaffe, but now she’s called the incident a “great injustice”.

Wurtzbach also has no hard feelings for Harvey and says he should be given the chance host Miss Universe again next year, calling him a “breath of fresh air”.

What’s next for Wurtzbach? She has her sights set on becoming a Bond girl, but for now she’s going to use her role to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and other causes including natural disaster relief and cyber bullying.
