KUALA LUMPUR, May 11 — They were in the same movie but Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh failed to recognise her co-star Pete Davidson at an event.

The Oscar winner met Davidson at the 2023 Met Gala on May 1 that saw the Saturday Night Live star greeting Yeoh.

"He was very sweet,” Yeoh told E! News.

"He actually came up and said, ‘We were in the same movie,’ and I go, ‘OK, who’s that?’ I didn’t recognise him. I’m so bad.”

Despite that, Davidson did not feel offended.

"He was very charming,” Yeoh said.

The duo is part of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts that features Yeoh as the voice of Airazor while Davidson does the voice of Mirage. It will be released on June 7.
