LONDON, Oct 11 — A new graphic novel based on the life of former Beatles’ band member John Lennon is set to hit shelves in May next year.

The release of the comic book biography, adapted from the 2010 novel by French author David Foenkinos, was announced at New York Comic Con over the weekend by IDW Publishing (via The Hollywood Reporter).

Titled simply Lennon, the publication will feature black-and-white artwork from Horne, and is based on a framework of transcriptions of sessions between Lennon and an imaginary therapist.

The story will recount the musician’s entire life, from childhood to worldwide fame, his solo career and marriage to fellow artist Yoko Ono. — AFP-Relaxnews
