LOS ANGELES, June 25 — No, not really.

This parody video of a purportedly kid-friendly version of his popular novel is just Chuck Palahniuk and Mashable larking around.

With tongue firmly in cheek, the author says by way of introduction, “Since my audience is growing older and having children and dying, I've decided to reintroduce the book to a whole new generation.

"That's why I've written 'Fight Club 4 Kids.' "

He then proceeds to read an excerpt from the “book”, which he tries to keep strictly G-rated, though he probably shouldn’t expect a call from Sesame Street anytime soon.
