LOS ANGELES, Aug 29 — As “Hustler” celebrates its 40th anniversary, porn mogul Larry Flynt explained that he would continue to publish the magazine if it remains profitable but would go digital if it starts losing money.
Flynt, president Larry Flynt Publications and owner of “Hustler Magazine” shares: “I always thought it would be much healthier in America if we had this type of climate where we could accept a human sexuality as very important, it’s one of our greatest gifts and we’re supposed to enjoy it, not be ashamed of it, a lot of progress could be made. Hopefully we’re getting there. Not as fast as I would like to but we’re trying.”
“We won a lot of important legal battles for the First Amendment to enable us to continue to publish. It’s helped the media in general too.”
“It’s not necessarily to the government’s benefit to have a free press. A free press actually serves the people but the government will continue to suppress it whenever they can.” — AFP-Relaxnews
