PUTRAJAYA, June 1 — The Finance Ministry has clarified that a temporary system error caused some Budi95 users to see their monthly quota displayed as 150 litres during scheduled maintenance at 11pm on May 31.

The ministry said the error was identified and corrected, stressing that the monthly quota remains unchanged at 200 litres for eligible users, including for June 2026.

“It must be emphasised that no changes have been made to the Budi95 monthly limit,” the ministry said in a statement.

It added that the government will continue to ensure the scheme is implemented smoothly, transparently and in an orderly manner to safeguard public interests and deliver targeted subsidies to those eligible.
