KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19 — Chamrun Digital has unveiled its Agentic AI platform, which aims to break down silos between ministries and departments to improve the efficiency of Malaysia’s public service.
Chief executive officer Dr Behrang Parhizkar said fragmentation of data and workflows remains one of the biggest bottlenecks in government administration.
“Acting as a ‘smart connector’, Agentic AI can unify these fragmented data and workflows into a single, actionable platform enabling leaders to make more informed, timely and effective decisions,” he said at the Malaysia Digital Expo (MDX) Summit 2025 yesterday.
Unlike traditional AI that reacts to tasks, Agentic AI is designed to anticipate needs, plan ahead and coordinate processes across agencies.
Chamrun Digital said the technology could speed up licence assessments, automate form checks and free civil servants to focus on policymaking and citizen services.
The company also highlighted its role in fraud prevention, where AI-powered voice systems can operate around the clock to verify reports and alert authorities in real time.
Chamrun Digital is working with the Public Service Department (JPA) on a six-month AI and Digital Leadership Programme to train senior officers.
The initiative aligns with the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint (MyDIGITAL) and the National AI Policy, with Chamrun positioned as a key partner in public sector transformation.
