SINGAPORE, April 2 — An unattended bag at Hougang MRT in Singapore caused a stir and a temporary shutdown, before being declared safe.
Singapore police reacted quickly to the incident, announcing a shutdown of the station and advising commuters that the station was unsafe on Facebook
The furore died down quickly after police examined the bag, and found no threat.
In a Facebook post, the Singapore police confirmed the station was safe and commended the station's staff for their alertness.
