ADELAIDE, Oct 23 — The Dutch team of Nuon won the World Solar Challenge car race in Australia, making it their sixth victory.

Nuon's car Nuna 8 won despite almost running out of charge as cloudy weather offered few opportunities for recharging batteries during the five day race.

The team celebrated by taking a dip in a fountain.
