KUALA TERENGGANU, Sept 22 — Poor attacking was to be blamed for T-Team’s failure to reach the Malaysia Cup semi-finals despite edging Felda United 2-1 last night.

Chief coach Che Ku Marzuki Che Ku Mohd Nor said had it not been for poor attacking and finishes, T-Team could have scored six more goals.

However, he described T-Team’s Malaysia Cup campaign as encouraging after making it to the quarter-finals by edging out Johor DT on goal difference after both teams collected nine points.

He said despite not having star players, T-Team could go further next season if the team was given more attention.

“The team is made up of young and talented players with great potential.

Most of them will be retained next season,” he told reporters here today.
