SINGAPORE, Aug 31 — The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCS) has issued a clarification stating that The Mineral Boutique Limited, a Hong Kong‑registered company and owner of The Mineral Boutique trademarks, was not part of its investigation into DNA Brands Co Pte Ltd.
The clarification, published on Aug 11, 2026, emphasised that the CCS findings concerned specific Singapore outlets operated by DNA Brands, and that these outlets should not be mistaken as being owned, managed or controlled by The Mineral Boutique Limited.
CCS noted that the trademark owner was not the subject of the investigation, which centred on unfair sales practices by DNA Brands.
According to The Mineral Boutique Limited, its authorised Singapore franchise agreement had been with Tay Shop Pte Ltd, and not DNA Brands. The company said DNA Brands later took over operation of the Singapore franchise business without its prior written consent or authorisation.
The Mineral Boutique Limited said it supports continued identification of the affected outlets for consumer clarity, provided they are accurately described as DNA Brands‑operated stores trading under The Mineral Boutique name.
