KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 — Grossing more than 1.5 billion yuan (RM893.37 million) in China, Dear You, directed by Lan Hongchun, continues its impressive run in Malaysian cinemas.

Driven by its emotional storytelling, strong community support and celebration of Teochew culture, the Chinese feature attracted more than 110,000 admissions and earned over RM5.8 million to date, now climbing to No. 1 at the Malaysian box office, overtaking Toy Story 5.

Beyond the big screen, Korean dramas continue to dominate streaming platforms, with hit series topping the charts on Netflix, Viu, and Disney+, including Teach You a Lesson, Reborn Rookie, and Doctor on the Edge.
