KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11 — Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh will be part of the star-studded presenter lineup for the 2025 MAMA Awards.

Chonsun Daily reported that Yeoh’s participation was announced today during a press conference at the CJ ENM Center in Seoul.

The awards are returning to Hong Kong after an absence of seven years.

PD Lee Young-ju said of Yeoh’s participation: “MAMA AWARDS has always pioneered new paths, and as K-POP has risen to the mainstream, Michelle Yeoh's participation holds special significance.”

Alongside Yeoh, other presenters include Hyeri, Cho Sae-ho, Roh Yoon-seo, Ahn Eun-jin, Ahn Hyo-seop, , Cha Joo-young, Lee Kwang-soo, Jang Do-yeon, Ju Ji-hoon, and Shin Seung-hun.

The MAMA Awards will be staged at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on November 28–29, coinciding with South Korean network Mnet’s 30th anniversary.

The venue, which previously hosted the awards in 2018, is emerging as a major hub for Asia’s mega-events.

The show will be broadcast live worldwide through digital platforms, including Mnet Plus, ensuring global access for K-pop fans.

This 2025 edition will be held under the theme “UH-HEUNG”, a concept encouraging individuals to embrace their authentic selves without fear, transcending boundaries of region, race, and culture.

In 2024, the ceremony made history as the first K-pop awards show to be held in the United States, signaling the genre’s firm position in the international mainstream.

This year’s return to Hong Kong underscores its role as a cultural bridge between Asia and the world.
