KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 — Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat is living up to his nickname, Mr Nice Guy.
A fan had bumped into the 67-year-old while having a meal at Sing Heung Yuen in Central Hong Kong recently.
The unidentified woman, who took to Xiaohongshu, a social media and e-commerce platform, to share her encounter, said Chow had taken the initiative to ask her to take a photograph together.
"Having a meal at Sing Heung Yuen and bump into Brother Fat (Chow's nickname). He is such a nice person, even took the initiative to take a photograph with me. Kenny Bee and friends were there too," hk01 quoted the woman's post.
According to the portal, Chow even snapped the photograph by holding the woman's mobile phone.
Besides her selfie with Chow, the woman also shared a picture she took, showing Chow with Bee looking at their mobile phones.
While some of the woman's friends praised Chow for his friendliness, others commented he looked handsome.
"He is worthy of a superstar," read one comment.
The portal added that despite his wealth, Chow leads a simple life.
He prefers public transport and whenever he is in public places, he is not pretentious, added the portal.
