KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 30 — Actress and singer Bella Astillah is fuming and it’s easy to see why.

Her Singaporean husband actor and singer Aliff Aziz received up to eight missed calls on a daily basis from an actress who is his co-star in a current project, Oh Bulan! reported.

In response, Bella had this to say on Instagram: “Everyone has problems. Challenges come and go. Thank God, it gets better every day. I’ve resolved it but I’m just worried it will happen again. As a wife, I have feelings and thank God that Aliff has changed a lot after we reconciled.”

When Bella checked with fellow actresses who had found themselves in the same predicament before, it turned out to be the same number from the same culprit.

“I think she already knows how angry and upset I am.”

Sabahan-born Bella says that as an actress herself, she has always respected the feelings of her co-star’s wife.

“I have worked with Abang Zamarul and I never was in direct contact with him. I would always talk to his wife, Diana. Only sometimes and only on set. One missed call is understandable. Maybe she left something behind. But up to eight calls daily? I really don’t see the need.”

Was Bella given an explanation? “Yes, she said she was stupid and accidentally liked my husband. I was shocked and horrified.”

She added that she and husband Aliff have discussed the actress in question and he agreed not to work with her in the future.

The couple have two children together.

“I’m just really worried now because many people have come forward to talk to me about this.

“I feel so small like I’m not respected as the wife. I’m glad I and Aliff have sorted it out in a mature way. It is my hope that we actresses consider the feelings of our male co-stars’ wives and respect our boundaries and know our limits.”

On forgiving the woman of many missed calls, Bella said it hasn’t crossed her mind at all.

“I hope this is the end of the story. I don’t want to hear any more. I love my family. I’m an ordinary person and I’ve forgiven and forgotten the past.

“She should know about my husband’s past. I hope he wraps up shooting soon and invites me to visit him on set.”
