KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 22 — K-pop supergroup BTS member Jungkook set a new record on iTunes with his 2022 World Cup song Dreamers.

Dreamers quickly shot to the top spot of iTunes charts in 102 regions across the world including the UK, Canada and Australia.

It also became the fastest World Cup theme song to reach No.1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in the US.

The song took only two hours and 11 minutes to reach the top spot according to South Korea’s News Herald.

Jungkook released the full English song on Sunday (November 20) before his headline live performance at the 2022 World Cup at Albaite Stadium in Qatar.

He also performed in a back-to-back duet alongside Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi.

The energetic performance saw the 25-year-old dancing in a sparkling black jacket among silver-suited backup dancers.

The lyrics of Dreamers revolves around unity and motivation, celebrating the accomplishments and passion of aspiring trailblazers.
