KUALA LUMPUR, October 16 — German high performance automobile manufacturer Porsche have unveiled a Taycan 4S Cross Turismo hatchback designed exclusively for K-Pop girlgroup Blackpink member Jennie.

The first project from Porsche Korea under the brand’s ‘sonderwunsch’ (special request) program, the design featured creative input from the artist.

With metallic black paintwork and 21-inch exclusive design rims in meissenblue, Jennie opted for a relatively understated exterior, with highlights including her name ‘Jennie Ruby Jane’ across the front door entry guards with her nickname ‘NiNi’ on the rear doors.

Typography from the Porsche 911 992 is used on visible text details and projectors on the front doors project a “Jennie Ruby Jane” cloud logo the star created herself on the ground, reported Hypebeast.

“I’m especially proud of having designed the visualisation of the clouds. I spend a lot of time traveling around the world — the sky and the clouds are my traveling companions and a beautiful symbol of these unique experiences.

“This is why I feel a special connection to them and am so passionate about photographing these nature motifs.”

Porsche Korea chief executive officer Holger Gerrmann said it was an exciting experience working with Jennie for their first ‘sonderwunsch’ project.

“I was impressed by her commitment and ideas, which went into her very personal Porsche.

“With the new ‘sonderwunsch’ programme, we are pursuing the goal of enabling people with very different lifestyles to make their dream of the perfect sports car come true.”
