'It's all up to him': HK Cantopop queen Sammi Cheng on husband Andy Hui's lacklustre comeback

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 — Queen of Cantopop Sammi Cheng told husband, singer-actor Andy Hui to appreciate whatever opportunities presented to him.

Met by the media during an event, Cheng was asked to comment on Hui's recent online concert that only saw 6,000 views.

She said she had seen Hui put in lots of effort to prepare for it.

"He also maintained his voice and kept his best posture," Sky Post quoted Cheng as saying.

"It is very important to have sincere performances and maintain the standard. I can't help him (on that)," she added.

The online concert was Hui's second public performance after the 2019 controversy where he was caught smooching former TVB actress Jacqueline Wong in a taxi, after his return on ViuTV in June 2020.
