PETALING JAYA, May 22 — Whenever Shila Amzah takes to the stage fans are always assured of a masterful performance.

Her ability to sing in various languages along with a wide range of vocal chords are just a few reasons why you do not want to miss her upcoming show in Resorts World Genting on September 29.

The KL-born singer announced her latest tour “Loving You” at Genting Highlands yesterday.

“This has always been a special place to me.

“I performed here many times, but not as a solo act and last year was such a special occasion and the fans made it even more memorable,” said the 27-year-old.

Shila’s first world tour “My Journey” started off at Genting’s Arena of Star’s last year and she assured her fans another top performance.

“This concert should be a more romantic affair — not only for couples but for friends and families too.”

Besides the Genting stop, Shila will also be performing in China while few other venues worldwide are still being confirmed.

“We are trying to plan this carefully. I want to juggle the responsibilities of being an artist and a wife well,” she said.

“Loving You” tour will be in support of her seventh album and she surprised fans who attended the press conference yesterday with two singles from the album — If We Are Getting Old and Love Planet.

Her debut album in 2000, Terima Kasih Guru was the beginning of her musical career.

Two more albums — Sha-Hila (2005), Shila Amzah (2013) — followed through before she ventured to China to begin her mandopop career — the only Malay artist to break through the Chinese music market.

Further success in Hong Kong and Taiwan followed through and most recently, she was listed in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list – which recognises a young leader, entrepreneurs contribution under the Entertainment and Sports category.

Tickets for the show in Genting will be available from June 1, 2018.

Prices start from RM118 and packages inclusive of rooms are also available.
