KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 18 — Highly successful Khmer action film Jailbreak is set to screen at the 28th edition of the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF).

This time, the festival will be taking place in Singapore from 23 November until 3 December 2017.

Premiering on 31 January in its home country of Cambodia, Jailbreak has been one of the most successful local productions this year, debuting with sold out shows and even receiving positive reception from the audience.

Directed by Jimmy Henderson, the film, incorporating the art of Cambodia’s ancient martial art Bokator, follows a special task force as they try to survive and fight their way out of a prison riot.
