LOS ANGELES, March 9 — Can’t wait to see more dinosaurs on the big screen? Good thing director J.A. Bayona thinks the same way too and has teased the first images from the Jurassic World sequel.

The image which Bayona captioned as “So excited to show you this!! A first look of the new Jurassic adventure. #JW2”, shows a young girl standing in the centre of a museum-like room full of the skeletons of dinosaurs.

Bayona did not say who the young girl is, and there are no obvious links to the characters in Jurassic World.

The sequel brings back Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt as well as B. D. Wong as the sinister Dr Henry Wu. They will be joined by new cast members Geraldine Chaplin, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine and James Cromwell.

Producer and screenwriter Colin Trevorrow, who helmed the original film, has reportedly revealed that the sequel will “be more suspenseful and scary”.

The Jurassic World sequel is scheduled for release on June 22, 2018.
