SINGAPORE, Nov 2 — Metallica will return to Singapore in January next year.

The legendary heavy metal band, which is made up lead singer and guitarist James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich, lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, and bassist Robert Trujillo, announced in a statement on its official website that it will be kicking off 2017 with a visit to Asia, and that it will be adding Singapore to its WorldWired tour.

The concert will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Jan 22, 2017, and tickets will go on sale today at 10am through SportsHubTix at www.sportshubtix.sg.

“The evening promises to be very special as it will be just our third visit to the city and the final show of our mini-tour of the region,” the statement said.
