KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 — To mark their 10th anniversary, Malaysian punk-rock trio Bunkface are set to hold a special concert called Bunkface X Live in Kuala Lumpur this coming December!
Made up of members Sam, Youk and Paan, Bunkface’s upcoming and second large-scale concert is more than just to celebrate their one-decade anniversary; it is also to show their appreciation and gratitude to their loyal fans, better known as Bunkers.
The band also recently signed under Universal Music Malaysia so the concert will be a collaboration between the major label and the band’s very own label, Bunkface Production.
Over the past 10 years, Bunkface has received various recognition and acknowledgement including Anugerah Industri Muzik, Anugerah Juara Lagu and Shout Awards.
Furthermore, the band is the proud nominee for MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMAs) 2016 in the Best South-east Asia Act category, competing against big music names, including Malaysia’s very own songbird Yuna.
Bunkface X Live in Kuala Lumpur concert will be held on December 24, 2016 at Chin Woo Stadium.
The two-hour concert will feature more than 20 fan favourites like Masih Di Sini, Situasi, Panik, Darah Muda and more.
On the concert day itself, the band will also launch a special compilation album Bunkface X, featuring famous tracks from previous albums and EPs. The album is set to be released in the market by early December.
After their concert in Kuala Lumpur, the band plan to have another concert in East Malaysia.
